Until now, this tea experience has only been available to guests staying at one of the three distinguished B&Bs in the Legendary Inns collection. Legendary Newport Tea  The tea is a world-class, connoisseur blend made exclusively for the group by America's preeminent tea blenders Harney and Sons. It is an elegant tea blend of three of the world's finest and rarest black teas from India and Sri Lanka. It features golden tip Assam, silver and golden tip Ceylon and Temi Sikkim teas.

Single Estate Teas  The golden tip Assam comes from the Mangalam tea estate in India's northeast Assam region. It gives the blend much of its body and fullness. The New Vithankande garden on Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon) produces the rare silver and golden tip Ceylon tea. Unlike most Ceylon teas, which have some astringency or briskness, Vithankande is a gentle, mellow tea with a hint of smokiness. The Sikkim region of India is not as well known as its famous Himalayan neighbor, Darjeeling, but its sole tea estate, Temi, produces one of India's most sought after teas. With a delicate, flowery fragrance and a slight edge, Temi Sikkim gives the Legendary Newport blend a little briskness.

All three teas are delightful served on their own but combined make a truly unique and elegant tea which takes milk, sugar or lemon equally well, depending on personal preference.

To brew, add one rounded teaspoon of tea per eight ounces of water and steep for three to five minutes. Each tin will make 50-60 cups of tea. The price per tin is $14.95..
